30 specialized tools. One cohesive panel. Whatever you build in 3ds Max — VFX, architecture, product viz, games — Studio Toolkit adapts to your job, not the other way around.
Studio Toolkit doesn't assume one workflow. Pick what you do — see the tools that matter to you.
Heals messy imports from other studios/departments — CAD, FBX, OBJ round-trips — into clean, render-ready topology.
Bake animated targets to Free cameras, blend two shots smoothly with Quaternion Slerp for seamless transitions.
Queue overnight farm-style renders per shot with independent noise/time limits and per-camera light groups.
Relink maps, proxies and Alembics instantly when files move between departments or render farms.
Flip every V-Ray/Corona proxy, Forest Pack and RailClone to Box or Point-Cloud to keep huge sim scenes responsive.
Purge Slate, clear the undo buffer and force GC to reclaim 50–300 MB of RAM mid-shot — no asset touched.
Pick a wall face, design a parametric layer stack, generate baseboards, panels, and cornices in minutes.
Share furniture and prop libraries across your whole studio over the network with one click.
Switch between V-Ray and Corona depending on client requirements — lights, cameras, fog and maps, no scene rebuild.
Render day/night/seasonal variants of the same camera automatically overnight.
Turn messy SketchUp, CAD and FBX imports into clean, weld-correct, render-ready geometry in one click.
Rebase a client file from mm to cm to m without distorting a single object, light or camera — render stays identical.
Catch missing or oversized textures before a client review — never ship a broken render again.
Keep file sizes light across huge product catalogs by merging duplicate materials & maps automatically.
Organize SKU-based naming conventions across hundreds of objects in seconds.
Place product variants instantly with a 5-point raycast snap — perfect for rapid catalog turnaround.
Deliver the same SKU to V-Ray and Corona clients from one master file — convert in a single pass.
Pack every texture used by a product into one folder with repathed maps — clean hand-off, every time.
Keep working scenes lightweight — purge editors and free RAM without touching your assets.
Attach, Weld, Batch ResetXForm and strip missing modifiers for clean, predictable exports to your engine.
Catch CMYK crashes and Normal-map gamma issues before they break your texture pipeline on export.
Enforce asset naming conventions required by your engine's import pipeline.
One pass to weld, cap, ResetXForm ×3 and re-smooth — exactly the topology your bake & LOD steps expect.
Collapse duplicate materials & maps to shared instances — smaller scenes, faster iteration on big libraries.
Cleanup, architecture, rendering, transfer, conversion — covered, regardless of what lands on your desk.
Jump from a VFX cleanup job to an arch-viz molding job to a product shot — same panel, zero relearning.
No need to buy a different specialized script for every type of project you take on.
Your most-used tools docked right inside 3ds Max — retract, stack and recolor categories to fit your flow.
Save your entire 3ds Max setup — shortcuts, toolbars, units, macros — and restore it on any machine in one click.

Studio Toolkit injects a customizable ribbon toolbar directly below 3ds Max's own toolbars — always there, even when the main panel is closed. Click a category title to retract it; collapsed categories stack to save space — exactly like the script.
Click any category title to retract it into a thin vertical label. Two collapsed neighbours stack into one column to save space — set how many stack in Settings.
Reorder categories, drag tools between them, recolor, and right-click any button to pin it to a personal favourites category — always one click away.
The ribbon stays docked in 3ds Max even when the main Studio Toolkit panel is closed. Double-click an empty area to collapse the entire bar to a single row.
An instant fuzzy-search spawner appears right over the Slate Material Editor's node graph. Type any partial name to filter every node type. Hit Enter to spawn it at the cursor — exactly like Nuke's Tab menu.
Works with all node types: VRayMtl, CoronaMtl, Standard, Physical, Bitmaps, Maps, Proxies — the full catalogue.
Switch render engines without rebuilding your scene. Hit Convert below and watch every material, light, camera and map translate — with the math preserved.
Converts the entire V-Ray scene to Corona Renderer. All major element types are automatically translated.
Going back to V-Ray? All Corona elements are translated with matching parameters.

3ds Max 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. Requires Python 3.x (bundled with modern Max) and uses PySide6 with a PySide2 fallback. The .mzp installer handles everything automatically.
Yes. The Offline Key method generates a SHA-256 token from your Machine ID. Once stored locally, Studio Toolkit never needs to connect to the internet. Ideal for air-gapped render farms and secure VFX facilities.
Yes. Contact support with your license key and the license can be reset and reassigned. For floating servers, simply revoke the old workstation from the Admin Panel — the seat is freed instantly.
Yes. Noise threshold and time limit overrides are applied using each renderer's native API. Studio Toolkit detects the active renderer automatically and sets the correct parameter names for V-Ray and Corona.
Each Copitor slot points to a folder — which can be a UNC network path (\\server\share). Any artist with the panel open sees the "NEW" badge the moment a colleague writes to that slot. No server needed, just a shared drive.
Yes, on any planar polygon face. The tool extracts the face's local transformation matrix, builds all geometry in that coordinate system, then positions the group perfectly aligned to the face — works on any angle.
Yes. Studio_License_Core.py runs via pythonw.exe — no console window, no UI required. The Admin Panel is a separate optional tool. The server can auto-start with Windows on the host machine.
